This year our goal has been to increase the awareness of the local populations knowledge of what we do aside from the float. I set up a partnership with a local pub, Ye Olde Fighting Cocks. We had our first open night there on Monday and it was a great success! Sadly a lot of our existing members were not able to attend but that didn’t dampen the spirits of those that came where at one point we were outnumbered by interested new members which was fantastic!
I look forward to seeing where we can take the night and hope the next one is just as successful, if not more so!
