Our Dutch friends from our twinned table in Zeist/Holland organised a charity gala on the 8th of March 2014. The gala has been running for a number of years and benefits a local education project as well as community project in Birma and takes place in the local castle.
St Albans Round Table was represented at the event and really enjoyed the weekend. We met again with our friends from the German and the French table and it turned out a great night. We were hosted in the homes of our Dutch friends and were very well looked after.
The Gala had everything from a charity auction, a jazz band and a disco and the drinks flowed freely, too. A special bonus was the free chips van that served delicious chips around midnight and the goody bag when we left the party!
